Time is flying and we are anxiously awaiting our shipment of hub caps! By next week, they should be on their way from China. Now we are just hoping there will be no freak storms, the ship stays away from the Bermuda Triangle, it's not too wide to fit through the Panama Canal, they stay away from the Caribbean pirates, it's not the same captain as the one on the Exxon Valdez, hopefully the ship isn't named the Titanic, and customs doesn't think the shipment is some new alien saucer technology! Our new items; car covers, motor mount lock tabs, and body to frame gasket (rubber), Steering Column Top Bearing, 4 Bolt Water Pump Rear Cover, Water Pump Grease Fitting With Cap, Stainless Steel Door Hinge Screw and Nut Set (Enough For Both Doors), Glove Box Screw and Speed Nut Set (8), Original Style CC Grill, Grill Screw Set (12), Instrument Blub and Steering Column Mounted Signal Light Switch.

Now, something we have been looking forward to doing. A review of products we have used on the project car. First off a special thanks to Painters Edge in Waterbury, CT for putting up with a couple of dummies like us and always answering our questions and recommending products to use. We started out by sanding every inch of the car and then we used PPG- DX 579 Metal Cleaner (multi purpose phosphoric acid base cleaner) and washed down the whole body. After that we put on PPG-DX520 Metal Conditioner (a phosphoric acid based coating that produces a zinc phosphate coating on steel surfaces). We then painted the whole car with PPG Omni MP Series Epoxy for corrosion protection. Well when we got done with all that we decided the top part of the car came out so well we should do the underneath of the car so we laid some tires on the ground and flipped the body of the car on the side and stripped off all the under coating. Then sanded and seamed sealed all the seams with 3M All Around Auto body Sealant (Part # 08500), Primed with PPG OMNI Epoxy Primer and put a finish coat of CONCEPT (DCC) Acrylic Urethane. That is our update for this time stay tune for more.

Another few months have passed and Ed and I are still hard at work on The Great Race project. We found that the floors were plated so we removed the patches to see what was under them. No surprises ...there were holes. Ed and I decided we would leave them to lighten the car up, so we could go much faster. However, when my co-pilot (Lightening Rodney) heard of this he said, "no way, if he drops his M&M's there would be no way to reclaim them and that could get too costly." So we had to install a whole new floor so Rodney would go.

We have another 14 New Products and still growing.
These products are: New 6" Pressure Plate, Center Seat Bumper, Disc Brake "O" Rings, New Fuel Pump, Hood Rod Grommets, Hood U Clip, Hood Rod Hardware, Hood Rod with Grommets, Knee Action Shock Bushing, Pedal Return Spring, Heavy Duty Wiper Arms, Heavy Duty Wiper Blades, CC Parking Lights, and Front Crank Seal with Spacer.

We now have 3 new Bargains and realized we forgot to list 3 items on the web. They are the Tail Gate Hinge, Lionel/Crosley "O" Model Train Billboards - Single and Double-Sided. Also we are short on a couple of pictures for some of our items we hope to have this problem taken care of soon. When you get into developing products, sometimes it is hard to stop for pictures!

PS: We are still looking for sponsors for our car and products that you would like us to try on the restoration, so we can see how they hold up. We would like to run this race to raise money for charitable organization. If you have any ideas on either, we would like to hear from you.

Christmas Special! Finned Valve cover with Matching Key Chain $89.95. Found at the end of the Engine section!

Ed and I just cannot get over how fast time is flying. It just seems like yesterday we were getting the website up and running. Since then we have had several articles done about us and would like to thank everyone. At this time we have 9 new products, and a new product line, Master Series Chassis and Floor paint. There's more for you to check out and some Christmas specials on the site. Hopefully Crosley Claus will be good to you, and you don't have to worry about shooting your eye out, kid.

Now that we said that, we would like to take a few minutes and tell you about a nightmare of ours. The past several years I have been pestering Ed about entering The Great Race. Well I think I have finally got him convinced. What we have decided to do is shoot for the 2008 race. We will be restoring a 48 Crosley convertible (see picture below) and we will be keeping everyone updated through the website with the progress of the restoration, cost, and regulations of The Great Race. We would also be interested if you have any products you would like to see used on this project. Donation of products and sponsorship is always open for discussion, so please contact us and let us know what you think. Remember, we are choosing our best car (???) for this race.....so the first step will be to clean out the critters.

Ed and I just wanted to take some time and thank Hemmings Classic Cars for doing a feature article on us. For those who didn't see it you can find it in the
September issue, pages 84-87. The response from this article was overwhelming and gratifying. We had no idea there was such a big interest in Crosley products! We want to thank everyone for the big response to the article too.

You will also see that we are hard at work and have over 20 new items and three new headings posted: Mechanical Brakes, Glass and Clothing and Apparel! So please check it out and tell us what you think! Remember, this is not the end of the new products, we still have a lot of projects in the works!
